More than 1,100 exhibitors from 51 countries presented innovative solutions and products at Intersolar, the international meeting for photovoltaics (PV) from May 31 to June 2, and the parallel trade fair ees Europe, the largest and most popular trade fair for batteries and energy storage systems. EcotecWorld was represented by Managing Director Holger Stegink and Achim Kip, Technical Director of LED / Photovoltaics, at the trade fair in Munich to make further valuable contacts.
According to the organizer Solar Promotion GmbH and Freiburg WirtschaftsTourismus and Messe GmbH & Co. KG, even more solar modules were to examine instead of storage. The many interesting conversations that Ecotecworld has had included visits at the stands of Canadian Solar Inc., Esdec BV, and Solaredge Technologies Inc., whose products are part of Ecotecworld’s portfolio.
Ecotecworld has installed solar modules for its new SDE+-certified solar project in Winschoten. The final plan for the project is clear, the project is scheduled to be launched this year. The CS6K-P module from Canadian Solar is used in the particular versions of 270 and 275 watts. These consist of 60 solar cells and are distinguished by their resistance. Due to its sophisticated design and corresponding manufacturing techniques, each individual module has a high performance and a long service life.
The dutch supplier of assembly systems for solar modules Esdec has presented its new system Click-Fit-Evo at the trade fair. The complete universal system, which only requires four components, enables a 40 percent faster installation of PV modules. The four-stage installation system is available from the photovoltaic specialist Ecotecworld.
At the Intersolar, Solaredge Technologies Inc. presented for the first time its next generation of performance optimizers and high-performance inverters for commercial equipment as well as complete solutions for the home sector, which Ecotecworld also introduces in its program.
With the introduction of more powerful, three-phase inverters of up to 100 kW, Solaredge is also expanding its successfully launched offer for the optimization of PV-systems for commercial systems. The new inverters enable a shorter installation time at a lower cost and also possess  intelligent energy management control.
Ecotecworld also offers a complete solution of Solaredge. This combines PV, energy storage and management in a solution for home / house roof systems. It controls and monitors the generation of solar energy, power consumption, energy storage and home energy management. This complete solution enables homeowners to increase their own consumption and energy independence.
The focus was on the topic of Smart Renewable Energy. Both trade fairs welcomed around 40,000 visitors in Munich this year. According to the latest Global Solar Demand Monitor from GTM Research, analysts expect a PV-demand of 85.4 gigawatts this year. This would have doubled the PV world market by 2014. As a result of this development, Intersolar Europe is also gaining in attractiveness for manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers and service providers in the sector. In 2017, the leading trade fair, which enlarged on one hall more than last year, was already booked 80 percent in November, half a year before opening.
